Restoration Yoga at SCW

Dr. Stacie LarkinDr. Stacie Larkin, a native of Wilmington, Delaware, discovered the truth to the saying “when one door closes, another door opens” through yoga. Stacie loves to teach small group classes and private sessions. Her classes focus on using the breath to calm one’s nervous system and quiet the mind. Emphasis is also placed on the bio-mechanical principals of proper alignment and promoting awareness of postural habits that may be contributing to one’s pain and dysfunction. Hands-on assistance is used to guide students safely into and out of yoga postures. While respecting each individual’s strengths and limitations, Stacie knows how to appropriately challenge each person to get the most out of their yoga.

Growing up, most of her time was spent at the Skating Club of Wilmington. She has experienced just about every aspect of the sport from singles, dance, pairs, synchronized skating, to even playing ice hockey in college at Boston University. Outside of yoga and physical therapy, Stacie loves to “just be” at her home in Hockessin with her husband Roger, and two wonderful daughters, Katie and Sara.
