Thank you to Peter, Dot, Norm Butler, Andrew Newberry & Brian Smith for coming to the 8-hour dig the day after the blizzard so that we could re-open the rink to skaters. U.S. Figure Skating is proud to recognize and congratulate you, along with the The SC of Wilmington, Inc, for being honored as both a Plus 10 and Plus 10 Encore membership recognition award recipient.
These awards were given to your club for your success in registering 10 or more introductory members into your club this past season, as well for registering 10 or more introductory members last year and for retaining 75% or more of those members during the 2014-15 membership year.
The introductory membership category has been successful due to the efforts of clubs like yours who have utilized this membership category to attract new members into your organization. It is your creativity, dedication and efforts that make us successful. We applaud you and the members of your club for a job well done!

In Memory of Doris June Tindall
We are sad to let our membership know that long time member, volunteer, friend and former board member Doris J. Tindall passed away this week. DJ was our chairperson for Skate Wilmington competitions for many, many years.
She is survived by her Daughter Pamela Becker and son Keith Tindall. Visitation will be held

2014-15 Recreational Skating Plan
Announcing our new Recreational Skating Plan for the 2014-15 season. All group lesson participants are invited to join and skate twice per week in our General/All Levels or Family sessions for only $100 per month. The skater can join in any month. To join, please download and complete our application and submit it with payment to the office or mail it to SCW at 1301 Carruthers Lane, Wilmington, DE 19803.
Copies of the ice skating schedule are available in the foyer of our front office or you may download a schedule from our 2014 -15 Winter Ice Schedule page.
