Congratulations from U.S. Figure Skating
Dear Kevin Penfield,
U.S. Figure Skating is proud to recognize and congratulate you, along with the The SC of Wilmington, Inc, for being honored as both a Plus 10 and Plus 10 Encore membership recognition award recipient.
These awards were given to your club for your success in registering 10 or more introductory members into your club this past season, as well for registering 10 or more introductory members last year and for retaining 75% or more of those members during the 2014-15 membership year.
The introductory membership category has been successful due to the efforts of clubs like yours who have utilized this membership category to attract new members into your organization. It is your creativity, dedication and efforts that make us successful. We applaud you and the members of your club for a job well done!
We would like thank the The SC of Wilmington, Inc for utilizing this membership category and for attracting new full members. As a token of our appreciation, please find enclosed certificates recognizing the The SC of Wilmington, Inc for their achievements.
To help show our appreciation a listing of all Plus 10 and Plus 10 Encore award recipients was included in the June / July issue of SKATING Magazine.
We want to thank you again for your continued commitment and support of U.S. Figure Skating. Best of luck to you and your club for a successful season ahead!
Congratulations,
Alan Wolf

Restoration Yoga at SCW
Dr. Stacie Larkin, a native of Wilmington, Delaware, discovered the truth to the saying “when one door closes, another door opens” through yoga. Stacie loves to teach small group classes and private sessions. Her classes focus on using the breath to calm one’s nervous system and quiet the mind. Emphasis is also placed on the bio-mechanical principals of proper alignment and promoting awareness of postural habits that may be contributing to one’s pain and dysfunction. Hands-on assistance is used to guide students safely into and out of yoga postures. While respecting each individual’s strengths and limitations, Stacie knows how to appropriately challenge each person to get the most out of their yoga.
Stacie is a long-time member of the American Physical Therapy Association, the Chief Delegate for the Delaware Physical Therapy Association, and a member of the International Association of Yoga Therapists. Growing up, most of her time was spent at the Skating Club of Wilmington. She has experienced just about every aspect of the sport from singles, dance, pairs, synchronized skating, to even playing ice hockey in college at Boston University. Outside of yoga and physical therapy, Stacie loves to “just be” at her home in Hockessin with her husband Roger, and two wonderful daughters, Katie and Sara.
If you would like a private yoga lesson or to help Stacie put together a group yoga class at SCW, please contact Stacie Larkin at 302-530-6452 or slarkindpt@gmail.com and visit Stacie’s website at http://www.restorationyoga.com
